The Trinity
God Exists in Three Persons and in One Essence
I
believe that God has always existed as a trinity. The three persons of the Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit are unique persons but they all are equally God in essence.
o I reject any theory such as
Arianism, which denies deity to any of the three persons of the Godhead.
o I reject any theory such as
Modalism, which makes the three persons of God into three manifestations of one
person.
o I reject any theory such as
Mormonism, which makes the three persons of God into three separate gods and
denies their unity.
